Lion group was, at the end of the year, ranked 46th on the list of the most successful companies in Serbia, with an increase in revenues by 25 percent compared to the previous year. The oldest company within the Lion Group is Euro Petrol, founded in 1996, and during the 18 years the number of employees has increased from five workers at the first gas station, at Otmara Majera in Subotica, to 235 employees and 20 petrol stations in Subotica, Bačka Topola, Novi Sad, Belgrade and throughout Serbia. The quantities of fuel sold have increased manifold, which shows that the ambitious plans from the beginning have been realized thanks to a team of extremely dedicated people, Tomislav Vojnić Purčar , the president of the company, emphasized at the annual conference.
Speaking of quality standards in the Company, Mr. Purčar also mentioned that the quality of fuel is in accordance with the latest European standards, and that many of the consumers recognize it by quality.
Today, more than 23,000 consumers are using Euro Petrol cards, which with significant discounts on the price of fuel accelerate and facilitate payments at gas stations. Euro Gas company was established 14 years ago and has 113 employees. Business has expanded from domestic market to markets in Hungary, Montenegro, Croatia and soon business will expand in Poland as well. Confirmation of quality is primarily in the fact that the company manages its business on the major international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001.
